Classic Halter Series
Foundation and Future
History
The Classic Halter Series debuted in 2022, becoming the fourth division of the North American Six-Horse Hitch Classic Series (NASHHCS). This division was created to promote breeding, marketing, and showmanship of the various draft breeds while educating the public audience on desired conformation traits
About
Halter competition is the foundation of draft horse exhibition, where horses from the four major draft horse breeds of North America, Belgians, Clydesdales, Percherons and Shires are presented in hand and evaluated on conformation, movement, breed characteristics, and overall quality. This division highlights the dedication of breeders and exhibitors who strive to preserve and advance the future of the draft horse.
